I heard about Robert Bingham on the news. They said he was able to call UFOs and they would show up. I had to see him! I looked him up and noticed he was doing an event nearby in a park in downtown LA so I showed up!
I was skeptical... it was a cloudy day... how could we even see UFOs on a day like this?? He said... "All you have to do is stare at a part of the sky intently for an hour or two and they'll show up." Ok. So I laid down on the grass.
Some people brought their telescopes. Everyone's just hanging around at the park. An hour goes by... nothing shows up. At about an hour and thirty minutes people start leaving... I was like... "Well, I don't have anything else to do... I'm just going to stick around a little more."
Then all of sudden...! 😲 A black dot pops through the clouds! I was able to get a good look at it with my binoculars. *Perfectly* round, with a shine/glow on the bottom even though the sun was overcast on the top. It moved in a perfectly straight line. So perfectly straight it, it didn't feel normal. At a relatively slow speed of just a few miles per hour. It kept going straight for about a minute or two until it went back into the clouds.
Some people were saying it was just a balloon... I didn't think so. But then about five minutes later, maybe by divine purpose, a balloon did show up! At relatively the same distance, on my binoculars I clearly saw it was a metallic heart shaped balloon and rocked from side to side as it moved, clearly because of the wind.
I was a little bummed out because I'm the kind of person that would have loved to have the whole fleet come down and wreak rainbow havoc. But overall, however painful it may have been, I did appreciate that subtle wink from outer space. (^_^;
